Kiki's Vacation begins with a much-needed vacation. However, once you arrive you discover that your house is a pigsty. After cleaning the house, you'll have to buy everything you need to keep the dust and cobwebs away and decorate it. To do so, you'll need some shells (the island's money) which you can get from a net in the water that fills up with shells periodically.
Like most Hyperbeard games, much of this game's charm comes from the fact that you're not always playing, in fact, you almost always have to wait. While the net fills with clams, you can stroll through the town, treat yourself to a massage, chat with the townspeople, and more. If you need a holiday, try the leisurely island life, relax and bring your life into balance. On top of all that, you can take photos, make new friends, and meet lovers as you explore the island.
